Spurs beat Jazz

Published by cardsfosho at 12:39 am under Uncategorized Edit This

So tonight I was fortunate enough to watch the Spurs beat the Jazz in person.  I really thought this game would be over before it even started as the Spurs have had trouble ever since the announcement of Ginobili’s season ending injury.

However, I’m proud to announce that the Spurs were able to prove me wrong.  Drew Gooden saw nearly 30 minutes of action off the bench and was able to contribute 14 points and  four rebounds.  Ime Udoke nearly matched his efforts with 13 points and five rebounds.  And of course, Tony was Tony.  Parker led the Spurs with 31 points, six rebounds and seven assists.  The game was close nearly the entire game which made the game even better.  One noticeable bench note was George Hill only saw 12 seconds for the entire game!!  All of a sudden he seems to be at the bottom of the bench, hindering his ability to learn from experience.  I’m sure there is a reason behind it, but it isn’t evident to the ordinary fan!

That’s all for now…GO SPURS GO!
